Got it. I wasn't trying to sound under-enthusiastic when I posted that. I just wanted to post something to indicate that I uploaded it, but didn't want to say "uploaded" or some variant of it again... Tongue

EDIT: Does anyone know how to properly make transparency work on a sprite sheet? For some reason it didn't turn out when I put it up on minus.

Oh crud, I was working on ripping from Risky's Revenge a while ago...I really should have gotten back to it. Ah well. Glad to see someone working on it finally. (I was terrible at piecing them together...)

Huh? Why do you want transparency on a sheet?

Probably like the image on my sig... the background is transparent so if you put it in a site that has another color, you won't see the usual white background.

I usually use Photoshop to do transparencies, there's also an option in the Save For Web to change that background (I don't know the exact term atm) in case you c/p it from somewhere.

Bust mostly, PNGs will always be transparent when you remove the background layer/keep it invisible in PS.

I realise the use of transparency in sig or avatar images (heck, I use it almost all the time), but sprite sheets rarely have transparent backgrounds.

By the way, in addition to what Avegaille said, make sure that your layers have an alpha channel, otherwise any alpha will turn out white. I'm not sure if this is required in PS, but in GIMP it is.

I was mainly concerned with how the "Tool Shelf" sheet looked when I linked to it, but it fixed itself when it went up on the site.

Often certain sheets, like that Tool Shelf sheet will require transparency due to alpha transparency - I have to use it on some sheets.

As an example, here I made it as accessible to people without a newer image editor as it is to paint users, by combining transparent and solid.

But yeah, you seem to have it sorted Smile

So what you're basically saying is... if there's a kind of "glow" bit that's like 50% transparent (as in the image you linked me to) I should put it against a transparent background?
If that's the case then I'll have to update one of my sheets. But that doesn't explain why the Tool Shelf would require it.

Sorry if this is all sounding very noobish, I'm just trying to learn Genki ^_^
