Cleaned the topic of a few derailing posts, let's try and stay on topic everyone.

Great work so far, everybody! Keep it up.

Combined a snake and a scorpion. 8 colors total. I rather enjoyed making it and have an animation in the works tomorrow.

took me a second to be able to see where was the head and the rest of the body...

Hopefully the newest tweaks will better help differentiate the body parts:

And the animation because I'm an overeager beaver. Do pardon the choppiness of it, it was meant to be animated like the larger enemies of the Castlevania series. That is, each body part is tilted and rotated separately.

I don't feel too bothered to mess with it anymore so consider this the final revision.

The animation surely boosted the definition of each part but... the more i look at it, the more organic and Castlevania-ish it becomes, rather than steampunk... its a rather ackward feeling(wich isnt related to the color choices). probably its because for me, the red used as rust reads more as blood, thus giving it a more "butcher" vibe than anything...

oh, the tip of its left leg shouldnt lose contact with the ground just like its right leg does. the rotation should use said tip as the axis for the rotation, instead of the center.

and being totally silly, i'm trying to figure how its suposed to keep balance with those legs...

I'm unsure if I'll finish in time, how many hours to go?

I do believe we have 17....I don't think I can add anything else in 17 hours, so I'm done.

Well fuck.

Probably not going to finish in time then, oh well. It was nice to do some larger spritework that 16x16.
