Aside from Sonic and Kirby, I think 3rd party should be limited to possibly 2 additional max.

Wait a sec. I thought Kirby was a Nintendo character.

I was going to add most of the characters that were accepted in the Fantasy Smash Bros Project. But if anyone feels strongly about not having a certain character I can remove it.

I hope you meant Sonic and Snake...
I think we should have a set roster for the game. And have a project for those characters separate from Fantasy Smash.
Yes, I meant Snake. I have no idea why I put Kirby.
Characters are a very important issue, but I almost forgot about stages 0.o. I think we should make a stage for each character, or just do like the Brawl or Melee and have a few stages for each series.

Also, what game modes/other features do you plan on implementing, Runouw Big Grin?
Please make an adventure mode like the melee one, but with more stages from various games like the Mushroom Kingdom and Zelda levels.
I think it should be one stage per character/series and then additional ones if ideas are deemed interesting enough. Should we start putting together a roster?
I suppose we could start making a roster. Then we have more of a goal than just adding whatever character you feel like.

I'll put in as many modes in the game as possible (personally I think adding a mode is less time consuming than adding a character). For the target tests I think we should have 1 stage per character like in Melee (not sure if we should have the option to choose a difficulty), and I'm thinking of reviving Board the Platforms. I'm Not sure if Multi-Man should use polygons (from Brawl), or wireframes (from Melee). And I don't know if the Home-Run contest should have the force field (Maybe an option to have it on or not)

I am going to revive Adventure Mode as well. And Classic Mode will be shorter and more random more like Melee (Classic mode in Brawl felt more like a chore).
Idk, you can suggest other ideas as well.
you know guys, I could add anything by demand. It all depends on good sprites and your favor. It is made on GameMaker. So you guys wanna download and try it out? oh and its gonna take a long time to make something big. It would be nice if you guys could help me out. Oh and the game was just a test, but we can extend it.

This sounds awesome! Please revive Board the Platforms. Don't forget Race to the Finish either. Also, thank you for sticking with melee style classic mode. Brawl Classic felt very disorganized and half-assed. As for the Multi-Man, I say you use wireframes since its not a 3d game. Lastly, you're sure that everything else is coming along okay feel free to go crazy with the characters. I don't mind having a bajillion characters in there as long as the game plays well. Or better yet, you could have a way to make custom characters with your own sprites. If you do that make sure to make the move creator lenient, but not so much that you'll be able to create horribly overpowered characters. Maybe have a large list of moves to choose from with preset damage. Just remember that if you do decide to do a character creator to put it as one of the last things you do so that everything else gets finished.
I feel that we should watch the memory size. Not every person in the world has a lightning fast computer. Also, shouldn't we decide on a name?

Ah, right. I didn't think about those Shy
Super Smash Bros. Revolution? That was gonna be the title of my game, but I'd donate it if it's acceptable Genki ^_^

Also, call me crazy, but a friend of mine from another forum suggested a 'Capture the Flag' mode for our SSB game, and I thought it could be a cool idea. I'd support it for SSB:Runouw since the idea is still 'up in the air'. Not sure how it would work out though.

Also also, I think the Alloys would be cool for Multi-Man.

I'll work on a potential roster, considering about only 1-2 Third Party Characters (excluding Sonic and Snake), all characters from existing Smash games (correct?) and....some..remaining Nintendo additions that I'd like to see Shy lol
Huh, a capture the flag mode sounds neat. Have you thought about adding online play?

This shouldn't be a problem as long as the code remains optimized and he doesn't put a bunch of particles on screen at once. Since we're using sprites though this will be a 2D game and isn't likely need a lot of cpu power anyway. Memory shouldn't be a problem either as long as you don't load everything in the game at once and you're not running Windows Vista.
I think we should try and fit in most of the finished Fantasy Smash Project characters that get finished. Oh, and I like the polygons from the 64 version Smile
