What inspired your ref's design? (also is that a Gemini symbol on the head?)

thanks, He was inspired by Gigantor, Mazinger, and Big O.
The symbol means he's Mark II.
Though it being a Gemini symbol would be just as cool, and would fit because he's also supposed to have an evil counterpart.

First serious drawing with my tablet, I can't seem to get Fennekin's body quite right, but I am however quite proud of myself.

trying to break the massive skull habit; its starting to affect all of my srs bsns drawings.

I wasn't sure if I really wanted to make a topic for these, since I know I could've easily optimized the colors a bit better and stuff but didn't feel like it really. Modeled after Harvest Moon sprites.

Haha, thanks, but I wouldn't call them "lovely."

More along the lines of scraggly.
Anyways, I'm going over them in Paint Tool Sai, slow progress.
