It's so cruel that all of the DLC characters are staring me in the face knowing I can't use them yet.

Seriously, people who complain about this DLC have nothing better to do than complain.
Just bought both DLC, it's also my first DLC purchase ^^, i'm usually against anything having DLC but the fact this game felt complete even without it, and the fact it's 50 % more content at $12 is a really good deal
The one thing that sold me and made me purchase it was the alt colors for Yoshi. Only reason I purchased them both.
If this goes well... fingers crossed for Smash.

also i really hope kirby's up next somewhere in the future, they could give him a warpstar car ofcourse or a SMB3 airship like mini version of the halberd

I just wish they would have gave the Mario series sufficient representation (Where the hell are any Mario RPG characters??) before they went and made it Smash Kart. I mean Mario Kart is about playing as your favorite MARIO characters and I've been waiting for that day for so long now. Now I guess Fawful will never get his chance, not with non-Mario characters getting in before my most-wanted Mario characters...
Mario RPG's characters are owned by Squaresoft.
That's why you've never seen Geno or other characters in anything since.
