Just read it, I'll try to keep all the characters similar size to Banjo.

Who should be sprited next?
I think he's still unfinished. Maybe he needs a RADICAL OVERHAUL HAUL haul haul...

That looks amazing. I think I should do a simple character next! Or maybe animate his tail?

I couldn't resist, but I thought he needed a white shine on his nose.
That tail is going to be tough to animate. Good luck! The good news is I don't think he needs a walking animation since he nevers walks, but you will need a fat version of him.

This is the tail animation, it's been testing at 100 milliseconds per frame. It looks smooth, but could be improved.

I don't have any GIF making software, rather than the Make A GIF website, but it ruins sprite quality.
See I don't really know if that's how his tail should move. Think about how a bushy tail swishes up and down.

Use this!

(You're welcome Previous :v)
I made some minor edits.

Looking good. The body still could use some adjustments.
There's pillowshading on the horns too.
Made some pads.

Considering it's a sidescroller, having objects that can only be distinguished from above can be a problem. So I think the pattern of each pad should be floating above he pad itself and facing the camera.

These are the Spring Jump Pad, the Flight Pad and the Warp Pad, as well as a base.
Never thought about that. I suppose in a 2D sidescroller they might have replaced the pads all together with like... I don't know, a Flight Cannon you jump into.

But we're not here to reinvent Banjo-Kazooie, we're here to make sprites! And these will do just fine.
Surprise guys, please... Banjo-Kazooie is such a great game... Sad look, how about this, we shouldn't overload ourselves with everything at a time, let's just focus on one thing at a time, and get this dead thread alive again! Let's apply some CPR to this bitch! Okay, first thing we should do, Banjo. We should get the walking, jumping, and swimming done, then we'll worry about the attacks. Here, just so the bump isn't worthless, here's a contribution:

oh my god... I was trying to make a walking frame, but... oh my god, the legs, man! THE LEGS! I HATE YOU LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEGS! at least I did the arms swaying, you could build off of that. I really am not good with spriting, but we need to get a heart beat going here! I think my suggestion of only doing one thing at a time will do wonders, but let's see what you think about that suggestion.
Um, well, I appreciate your enthusiasm to revive the thread, but try to tone it down a little bit. It's kind of awkward...

But good point. We should try to focus on one thing at a time, and getting Banjo's animations started seen like a good place to start.
Yeah, while I would like this thread to return, isn't it up to Koopaul to revive it or not?
