i just saw the whole saw series.......im not gona sleep for a few weeks
I reject that there is more than 1 Saw film... Seriously, they ruined classic...
As for me, being watching a lot lately. Rio, Rango, Pirates 4, Thor.
Thor was OK, nothing great but wasn't offensive.
Didn't like Rango, which is a shame as I had heard good things about. The direction just wasn't strong enough, as if they had created some characters and a location and then didn't really know what to do.
Rio was better than expected, and although some of the music sucked (thanks to the Black Eyed Peas, who need shooting) the bird animation was well done and it was an enjoyable light hearted film.
As for Pirates. I don't get the mermaids. I mean if they can be on land with seeming no ill effects, why does tying her up half in/half out of water do anything simply tying her on land wouldn't do? Maybe I missed something but it seemed pretty odd. I'm also rather against Mermaids being able to switch from legs to tail with no ill effect or sacrifice. Like, just live on land then.
Or one goes on land, flirts with a guy, go on a romantic boat ride and then AHHH! Mermaids! If once they had legs they could never have a tail that would be fine. Just seems a bit much. In all honesty the film didn't really need Mermaids at all. I'm guessing they were introduced as there going to be important in the next film. After reading the incredible Mermaid Saga manga I was pretty let down with the uncreative use of the creatures.
I figure each time they make a pirates movie, they just try and think of what new creature they can add into it.
