So I just beat Bugsy. (Yes, I'm going through the game reeeeeeeeeeeeeally slowly, hahaha)
My Croconaw is now around level 22 or so.
Bugsy's Scyther was able to 2-hit me using that U-Turn move on my first attempt, but on my second try I was able to freeze it solid using ice fang and then take it down.
As for my other pokemon, the highest level of any of them is 6. That belongs to my Hoothoot, which only raised from level 2 because of the double batle in Bugsy's gym.
Other than that one battle, my Croconaw has gotten all the experience from every battle up to this point.
I know this'll come back to bite me in the ass later, but I'll wait until then to grind my other pokemon. I wanna see how far I can get on just one pokemon, hahaha
I forgot, when you you get the EXP Share?
After you face Red Gyarados, go back to Mr. Pokémon I Think.

Fuck yes. It's about goddamn time Entei got updated from the shit hole that is his move pool. Yeah Flare Blitz was already confirmed, but now he's even giving Arcanine competition with the addition of Extremespeed. Raikou also got Aura Sphere. Niiiiice.

I believe it has to have the Flame Body ability as well (I had a Typhlosion and it made no differense)
I'd recommend a Magmar.
flame body/magma armor
magby line or slugma line has those, reduces steps by 50%

I'm surprised I was able to blast through the game (relatively). I have 64 hours clocked, yet with Diamond and Platinum I kept deliberating and leaving off at Sunyshore with 40something hours...
well if this means Pokemon has my full attention again, awesome.
I beat Jasmine and Pryce on the same day. I beat Jasmine in five turns and none of my pokemon lost any health to her pokemon. Jasmine was probably the weakest gym leader I've ever faced. Pryce was somewhat a challenge, but only because I didn't give my pokemon that weaken ice type move berry.
I can't believe I've spent 24+ hours playing the game and I haven't even beat the E4 yet.
As for new pokemon, Bill just gave me a female Eevee, so you can guess what I plan to do with it. I won't be able to trade until I beat Team Rocket though.
