[Image: skeledex.png] Feel free to pick it apart, I'll make it it's own topic when I get fartherbut damn I'd like some feedback. This is taking forever, I'm constantly wanting to get up and it's annyoing to fight that urge. Also why does everything i make seem so damn mediocre?

made at school, and I'm taking Drawing classes next year so I figured now would be a good time to start up. I am aware that there is most likely many things wrong with it, but I'll keep plugging in on drawings and hopefully get better. Smile

If your school has an anatomy class take that instead,at my school they taught you how to draw all the muscles and how they work and I regret not taking it.

it looked better w/o dithering

just dont dither period, make proper middle tones

dithering = a technique used to make there appear there is a middle tone between two colors to cut down on color limitiations

only other use for dithering is adding texture but skulls arent rugged. also you line art is pretty decent but the teeth are kinda wonky and make it look a little scribbly

also forgot to mention that you should clean you lines up before ANYTHING else unless you really know what you are doing

heres some cleaner lines for you and a better example of dithering

Quite fun to do, especially trying trying to restrict myself to using the fewest lines possible, which I didn't do Cry. But this was fun overall, and a nice refresher since I haven't drawn anything in like forever. Well pick this apart while your at it. And yeah that is me.

Kinda far away? Its not exactly a close up or an depth look where we can get a good idea of what may be wrong with it or not. I think individual pictures might be a little better than a group shot.

I don't really like repeating the same thing to everyone
but I think you could benefit from learning about the line of action.

The uppercut pose looks pretty good in terms of action, but that second one... well, first I can't really tell what the pose is, and second it looks a bit stiff.

If it's meant to be a kick, his raised foot is all wrong. Kicking like that would be like stubbing all your toes at once! Ow. Most kicks are delivered with the ball of the foot or the side of the foot, I think. I could be wrong though, I am hardly a martial arts expert :B
