You guys seem to be overlooking the "alternate costume should not be a new character" thing. As for Kirby, I like the hat idea, but when he gets character powers that wouldn't work. We need something more cosmetic.

Well I was working on this it's a WIP for right now this is Sonic's Extreme Gear Costume hope you like it and does it abide by the rules Tonberry?

Well not really you see the current blue Pikachu is the goggles, while the alt would be blue party hat Pikachu.

There's a significant difference between a blue party hat and blue goggles.

Okay but I'm saying is Pikachu's color swaps are already essentially alternate costumes. Adding another hat is essentially adding another color swap. It's not much different. He'd need some other sort of cosmitic change to really be different.
