If it weren't for you Baru, I'd be without one of my favourite submitters.
Tsunami Bomb - The Simple Truth
We could run away
Leave behind anything paper
Not knowing where we're going to stay
When there's no Mondays

You're part of me, it's so easy to see the simple truth
When I'm in your arms, I feel safe from harm and sorrow too
You're part of me, it's so easy to see the simple truth
But most of all, nothing couldn't be solved when I'm with you

I had hoped I would have gotten this done last week, but the last part wasn't as easy as the middle part.

Here are all NPCs, enemies, bosses, misc overworld sprites and cutscene PC sprites from Breath of Fire III.

(feel free to keep Enscripture's (Hetero) Chimera sheet of course, in case you prefer his version ;])

As with BoF IV, I made an extraction program to do this. You can get these here (BoF 3) and here (BoF4). Note that only .EMI files in WORLD00/-01/-02/-03/-04 (BoF3) or WORLD (BoF4) are supported by these viewers. (and only the ones starting with 'AREA')
You may need to fiddle with the bpp setting to display some characters properly (all BoF3 sprites use 8bpp).

They can also export to animated PNG files, in case you want the actual animations. Use something like apng2gif if you want .gifs; I've yet to find a good (free) lossless animated gif exporter for .NET.

Also, take your pick which one of these is my 1000th submitted here, not counting tTR. (there's ~194 to pick from)

whoa whoa whoa, this is utterly awesome Heart

I can't even imagine the effort with just using Animget for all these sheets. Should I stop with Grandia now? Or what are you planning for the future?

His sheet has 69 frames, your version has 106 (even with grid) + no chance of leftovers (I'm sure Enscripture used Animget).

I think your version is better.

Dav, he didn't. The extraction programs he makes takes the coding that's present in the files and pre-assembles the sprites (not always fully assembled but enough to work with). Still only leaves the battle sprites for the PCs (which includes the dragon forms, including Kaiser, as the one Baru ripped is from Angel Tower) which are either compressed or embedded (the VRAM loads various tilesets when they show up), so I don't know if an extraction program for that is possible..
Doofenshmirtz: This is a little bit awkward but have you seen my escape jet keys? (Perry nods) What, you have? Well that's great! So where are they? (Perry looks away) You won't tell me? Is this because you don't speak or are you just being a jerk?

Since I have no Idea what I'm going to rip next, I see no reason why you should stop ripping Grandia (which I've never even considered ripping tbh). In any case, I'll be getting more busy with my MSc thesis in the coming weeks, so I do not expect to rip all that much.

They do not seem to be compressed (at least part of them), but rather stored in an odd way. They can be found in the BPLCHAR folder.

It has sprites as good as in BoF III, but it is a real pain to rip from. For example Baal with his 8 directions and 10 frames per direction, makes 80 sprites just for walking.

Nevertheless, I will stop this project anyway, it's too hard with VRAM and impossible with Animget due to screen resizing all the time. I've ripped the bgs and portraits, maybe you'll consider to rip its sprites, I would really appreciate it.

Added Kirby from Kirby: Mass Attack.
This are probably just for the normal play only; the sheet is big enough without minigame sprites.

I've also added an extended version of xdonthave1xx's Gem Frames and Gems sheet from Children of Mana. Either he did not get them all, or there are some unused gem types.

Ooh. You added lines specifying the sprite's origin. That's probably how all rips should be since it's the most correct and usable way to rip. Great stuff there!
Thanked by:
In that sense, the 'most correct way' would be to just post the source files, since they also contain the delays of each frame, along with the actual animation names. ;]
Having those lines (or boxes with dots) will occasionally makes the rips seem cluttery though, and sometimes it also does not add any useful information.

In any case, if anyone has better names for the move-sets of Kirby, I'll gladly adjust them (especially those with (partial) names between 's).

Well, I don't know much about this game but I'm pretty positive that that action you titled as "vomit" (Sick) is actually "swallow".

The internal name of that animation is actually 'K_vomit_empty'. However after playing a bit it does seem that swallow would be a much better description. I'll change it once I get home.
