Did you even ask the guy that gives you the quest about suggestions of where to look?

Seriously, he tells you 3 places, and if you check them, you will find them easily.

So I downloaded Broken Steel, but the game seems to get stuck at Project Purity with Sarah telling me to secure the area. What do I do?

Bit of advice for ya: If you're decent with repair and have the Power Armor training, start wearing some of that Enclave armor, as it becomes super-easy to maintain with how often you'll be encountering Enclave soldiers.

Just got the training, but haven't tried repairing anything myself.
Went up against like 8 enclaves in the taft tunnel at once while wearing only combat armor and died like 30 times before I finally got out.
UGH. Even with the laser rifle, they were still hard.

Yeah, I killed Autumn, Sarah ran up and talked to Li, then she tells me to secure the area and there's nothing I can do. Yes, I'm in the rotunda.

Hmm, I don't remember the bit well enough, I figure Doctor Li has to tell you that shit is going to hit the fan. I'd try to talk to her or just try to go straight to the purifier.

Damn Fallout3 is buggy...
