As much as I love Final Fantasy 6, a movie probably wouldn't be that great. There's just way too many characters. You'll have to either make a series of movies, or cut some out.

If anything, FF6 would make an awesome TV show/anime.

Personally, I think a CGI Mario movie could be made by Nintendo and an animating company.

Like Galaxy's cutscene near the end.
