I found magazine articles about the game.

This article I found shows the name of the NPC Blocks in Bowser as Emoglobin (wtf) and Yellow Star / Chippy as Starlow
(Heh, Fawful's line is hilarious there.)

This article I found shows his name as Midbus and Brirock as Broque. (And it seems Broque has a French Accent)
