Hotel mario sprite project
#46
ROMs are illegal but I don't see why the emulator is such a big deal not to tell us...

Heck, there's a topic on the Discussion board that has a whole list of Emus and where to get them.

Would anybody be willing to help here...
I am trying to figure out how to extract the graphics files directly from the game...
It is an ISO so could someone please tell me what I can use to view do graphics ripping from an ISO?

Well I usually unpack the iso file using an extractor such as MagicISO or something, then experiment to see which unpacked files I can open using Tile Molester. I'm not sure how well it'd work for a CD-I game though, the ISO might have a different method of packing.

Wow, those sprites are awesome! I used the koopa and goomba sprites in this game I am making called Hotel Mario 2: Global Problem.

This project has been inactive for a while so you can kinda lock this till tile ripping from cdi is possible...

Didn't you use Animget? I can imagine that ripping backgrounds is impossible because they are covered by stage tiles, but ordinary sprites (bosses, enemies) should be easy to get.

Actualy it's that the game is such a pain to play that all...
If it was more pleasant then I would have ripped the whole game by now.

Perhaps you should try the CD-I Zelda games. I've been dying for Ganon and Morshu sprites.
