How to import Pokemon X and Y models into Blender?
#1
Question
Hey ya'll, if any of you people use blender, I'd appreciate it if someone could help me

So recently, I tried to import an .FBX Pikachu model into Blender. And Blender says: Version 6100 unsupported, must be 7100 or later.

Does anyone know how to fix this.

(btw, I'm version 2.82)
If you can't handle the heat.
You can't handle the Neutron Style.

Hiiii! Zero here with your explanation station
Okay so FBX is not a native blender format it is Autodesk's thing, so what blender's team had to do was reverse engineer the FBX format in oder to get it to work in blender. The one they used was ver 7100
So the version that these models are in arent supported because itMore Sweatdropss below where blender started working on.

SO How do we get these FBX pokemon in?

Well simple you use the Autodesk FBX Converter!

Its old tech that Autodesk made to convert non supported FBX formats into readable FBX formats for other platforms.
here is the link: https://www.autodesk.com/developer-netwo...r-archives
and you just pick your OS version and run the program.
I used the FBX2013 setting and everything came out fine

Side note when installing it's gonna ask if you want to install the shell of something (I think thats what it's called, ) just say yes.

Anywhohope it helps and good luck on your pokemons
