Sonic Characters Voice Clips in Lego Dimensions
#1
I have a folder of the Lego Dimensions game for Wii U. However, all of my files(11 are Game, 6 are DLC, and 2 are Patch) are DAT files. My original intention was to extract all the Sonic characters voice clips from the game(Sonic, Eggman, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Shadow, Big, and Omochao) as you can tell from the moniker of the thread. This is including voice clips, battle sounds, sound effects, and in-game dialogue. However, I don't know how to go about this. Please Help?

Thank you guys for taking the time out of your day to read my post!

But of course my friend. Here you go.

BTW, I don't really know the contents of the DAT files inside, so I'll just send you a random one!

Can't access your upload due it needing permissions, but if it's from the Lego games, you can try unpacking it using QuickBMS with aluigi's "Traveller's Tales games DAT files extractor" script from here: https://aluigi.altervista.org/quickbms.htm

Thanks Bush! It's a little unfortunate and embarrassing that I had this program this whole time and I didn't consider using it but that was due to my ignorance.

I extracted some audio files you guys might find interesting but they're in a WUA format. What should I do with it? Here is a sample of a "Winning Sonic" one.

Sorry Pingu! I didn't know. But I looked up online how to make a link shareable so here you go again!

Download vgmstream component + foobar2000:

Rename from *.WUA to *.IDSP and they will play properly.

Sorry if it's been a while. I was focusing on other stuff. I was actually modding for Gamebanana, but that's besides the point. I felt like I should probably tell you guys...

ALL OF THE LEGO DIMENSIONS FILES ARE MIXED UP!!! Pardon my little outburst and let me explain into further detail.

If you are to play these audio voice clips into foobar, they will be randomized. In some games, they have folders specifically for every character. This game is one of those, but it means nothing...let me show an example.

Let's look into Sonic's folder. If we put the first voice clip we see in Foobar, it won't even be voice clip of Sonic. It's a voice clip of Marceline from Adventure Time. For the characters of each wave, (this is also including Gremlin and Newt), their voices are mixed up. Oh, this is also including other languages, (Spanish and French for instance). Oh right, I also forgot to mention, percentage of these .wua files aren't even playable!

The voice files for this game are mixed up, in different languages, and most of these files aren't even playable. WHO THE HECK MADE THIS GAME?

Please excuse me, this was just a mini rant. If you can find the guy that already had all the voice clips, but were unsorted, you can give them to me and I'll sort them. Otherwise, this game is a mess...LITERALLY!
