I cannot get the textures out. Noesis claims the format can't be determined and they won't open in any other applications.

EDIT: Don't know why Noesis did this, but turning Safe Types off lets me view the textures.

Anyone else having problems with the textures not being there? Or is it just me?

Edit: I FIGURED IT OUT! The textures are in a DIFFERENT file from the model! I'll explain more when I get home with a video!

If anyone can help me out I need the model of the Ringmaster from Dumbo to 3D print as a figure. I don't really need the textures... I guess it would be a nice guide to painting but I can probably just use Google images for that.

Also made a request for this in Commissions as well.

I've been wanting to do some model ripping from this game, but my PC isn't running Windows 10, so the Microsoft store isn't letting me download and install the game. Can anyone here share the folders/files with the model data and texture data needed for Noesis?

Sure.  There are a couple of steps but it's all pretty straightforward:
  1. Install Disney Magic Kingdoms from the Microsoft Store
  2. Grant your account access to the directory where Windows apps are installed
  3. Navigate to the directory where the game files are stored (it'll be something like
    C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\ABCDEFGH.DisneyMagicKingdoms_xxxxxxxx\Assets\data\DLC)
  4. Although the files don't have extensions, everything in that directory is a zip file.  The files we're interested in are common_textures_pack as well as all of the model_*_pack files.  Create a directory wherever you like and extract all of those files into it.
  5. Download Noesis and extract the program
  6. Download the plugin from the first post in this thread, extract the zip file, and move fmt_bdae_0,0,0,965.py into <directory where you extracted Noesis>/plugins/python
  7. Run Noesis, browse to the directory where you extracted the game files in step 4, and start checking out models.  Many of them have sub-models that you need to cycle through with F2 to find the one you want.  When you find a model/sub-model you like you can use File > Export from Preview in Noesis to convert it.  At this point you should be ready to import the file into Blender, 3ds Max, or whatever other 3D package you plan on using.
Thanks so much for this! It was just what I needed! (It's not so easy at first, but it's nice!). I have a question about it:

1) I found the textures of the characters, but they are a little "too light", is this normal?

2) Is there a way to also obtain the pose (or animation) of the characters and then import them into Blender?

Hi I don't know if the noesis plugin still works ... I have now tried to extract some models but it doesn't show them to me or it tells me that the file type is not supported ... I'm desperate I don't know what to do.

TheMaidMarian, The first model of the character (or 4th model of your choice) is HIGH poly, while the second model of that character (or the 5th model of your choice) is LOW poly.
