Yeah, I'm not as much of a fan of the first one after I finished that glare animation. I might use that one as the basis for the rest, if I end up continueing this.
That most of his face is obscured in the first animation is intentional, to be more ominous and final boss-like. At second glance, the face does look off. He also looks stiff.

An idea I had.
Region Locked! Dazz throws the giant key in a straight line ahead, creating a spatial tear some distance ahead. The tear becomes a temporary void that damages the other player. Removing access to this part of the stage for the opponent, you could say that region is locked.

I had another idea for a Dazz final boss. The fight itself is simple and I figured something like this is feasable for me to actually finish. Teseo 2.0 from Mighty Gunvolt Burst inspired this, but it's based on similar bosses in platform games.
I want him to have elemental attacks. An electric laser, flamethrower, freezing wind, stuff that triggers the different condition states. These attacks are simple, so perhaps he could summon copies of fighters, or "Sprites from The Resource".
I'm planning on adding animations for the attacks, the hair on the back (different layer) and the top part of the torso.

Sheet update
Touched up the head
Added lips for firing elements (ice breath, flamethrower, etc.)
Added eyes: Red (uses fire attack), blue (uses ice attack) and hit.
Added hit frames for cockpit.

Example of him spitting fire. My idea is that once the flame hits the ground, it creates waves of fire left and right, forcing the player to jump.

EDIT:
I'm not happy with how the fire turned out. I've been trying to think what fits Dazz best, but I've come up with a projectile that I think fits with a Fighters Resource boss.

I call it the Derezz Attack. It comes in 3 variants: Burning red, freezing blue and electrifying yellow. The idea is that each element has its own pattern, so when the eye shines blue, you know an ice attack is coming up with its respective pattern. Examples of patterns: A line like a laser, an expanding ring, projectiles raining down, crawling over the floor so you have to jump, etc.
When a Derezz Attack is fatal, it results in a Spritality.
I left the old flame in the sheet just in case.

Three tiers are separated on the sheet so they can animate independently. There's also a tile that can be repeated above the top tier and one that can be repeated under the bottom tier.

I remember project from first time I came into this County. Good to see is still going on! You are talented artisan. I would hire you to make mosaic in my castle if I had more place to make mosaic. Is enjoyer of art!
I dislike drinking blood, by the way. I think it (im)pales in comparision to kebabs. Is delicious.

A realm where all Resources meet and the throne of their creator, Dazz.
Elements of this stage are based on the patterns of the headers of the four Resource sites:
The floor is inspired by The Spriters Resource.
The background is inspired by The Sounds Resource.
The two objects floating in the background are inspired by The Models Resource and The Textures Resource, the illusion cube and sphere respectively.
This is where the Fighters fight to claim the throne and the power to make their every desire a reality. (Neko's is a life-time supply of Fishcakes.)
