i like the progression to more "hi-tech" monsters. i mean, we have a fuggin transforming robot, for crying out loud xD. personally, i think they all look really cool so far. my personal fave would have to be the moth...bird thing.

there are people out there who complain about newer pokemon designs being too "stupid" or "flashy." but...isn't that the point of this universe? to have interesting creatures with freaky features? i mean I'll even defend fucking robots, windchimes, chandeliers, and car keys: they look stupid, but it's so fucking cute the way they look stupid. i think that's part of the Pokemon design team's intention.

i know people have their preferences, but it wouldn't hurt to show some more appreciation for the designers. what would you do if you had to create over 100 unique creatures within the span of a couple years?

I've just always been a fan of charming looking Pokemon, and yes that includes the icecream Pokemon. As long as it has a emotive face I'll like it. Which is why I hate things like Claydol or the Regis.

I loves the adorable trilobite 'mon. I hope he turns into something awesome because I really want to give him a go.

I also love Horseboots, he looks like a badass. And that's coming from someone who doesn't usually like horses. He strikes me as a 'mon that probably won't have an evolution.

Nah man, I totes adore Busbug, he's adorable! It's gonna be hard picking between him and the new trilobite cutie, though.

It looks like this generation is gonna be pretty bug-heavy based on what we've seen so far. Surprisingly little flowers so far, aside from the lei fairy.

I did some research on Wimpod. Some people thou g ht it was a horseshoe crab while some thought it it was a trilobite.

It's neither.

It's an isopod. Which would explain the "pod" part of its name. Also the segmented body and uropod tail.

If anything you'd expect their fire abilities to just get stronger, since it's essentially like Sunny Day is active ALL THE TIME.
