This is looking pretty good so far! Your character designs have quite a bit of variety.

What a cute robot. I really like the style you've got going with these. Maybe you can make teh reflected shading/metal shading on his head a bit more obvious though, if you hadn't already planned on that.

Looking forward to see teh finished product!

Thank you! Im unsure what you mean by reflected shading? something like this?(quickly done as an example, i know its not great) [Image: fnqH2I8.png]

If thats what you meant, I dont think i'll be adding it, this style is fairly established in that it is meant to be an extension of the little ingame sprties, and follow similar 2 predominate tone shading. Its not a bad suggestion, it just would not be fitting of the style in my opinion

EDIT:just to help, heres an example of a finished one in this style

Yeah that's what I ment (is reflected shading the correct term for that?). I personally think it shows the material better, but I can understand that you don't want to add it. The style and character look really nice without it anyway.

I was just editing the previous post to show the previous work in the style but then you commented, so i'll re-add it here for ease of reply
If i were using the same style as the one i did my avatar in i would totally add the reflective shading! Personally, i cant think of a better term for it really.

[Image: ZiUBbq6.png]also a bit of progress. I''m not really satisfied with how the orange hip joints are shaped...

I really dont have a purpose for these, just for fun really. I tried to stick to nes color limitations on the sprites, but the mugs i kinda gave up on that halfway through haha. I keep updating this as I add more.

you ever try to fuse them and do mega robots fusions (Horrible Name)
