SM3DW Map Character sprites?
#1
Smile
Hi everyone! I'm new, and I was looking in SM3DW. Unfortunately, I did not find the map character sprites. I'd rip it myself but have no idea how. Sad So could someone please try it? It'd be very helpful Cute

Please read the rules about requesting. You can ask for help on how to do it yourself though.

Sorry, I'm new here, so many apologies if I'm not supposed to be replying here, but I have ripped the Super Mario 3D World Map sprites if you still need them:

Nice recreations. But I don't know if they are allowed to be submitted to the SM3DW section, because the in-game files may be bigger than real NES sprites would be.

Oh, yeah, I guess that's true, but I never really planned on submitting them anyways XD Although, maybe I should try and find the size they use in game... do you happen to know the dimensions for them?

No, but I suspect the graphics are inside a layout file, seeing as they are part of the world map HUD (which was made with layout files in SM3DL).

Oh, haha, I actually don't know how to dig into the files of Wii U games yet, is there a tutorial I can use perhaps?

It is, but I'm actually not sure how to get at the BFLIM files at the moment.

The last commit of EveryFileExplorer mentions upcoming support for Wii U BFLIM, so hopefully that shouldn't take too long.
