I already know gen 1 is gonna have the most reps since it's the most popular (and already has half of them) but I still wouldn't mind Jigglypuff and Mewtwo.

Greninja seems like a must, and Suicune can't be the only gen 2 pokemon so gimme Scizor and we're gold.

Well, probably not EVERY one. I'd probably limit it to one Pokemon per evolution chain. We don't need, for example, Squirtle, Wartortle, AND Blastoise.

And I think the aquatic pokemon could be feasible fighters if they wanted to. They could just treat them the same way they do it in the Pokemon Stadium games and give them the ability to hover.

What I WOULD be cool with is if every copy of the game came packaged with a Namco Banapassport card so you could put your fight data on it so you could just being the card to a friend's house (or a Dave & Buster's restaurant with Pokken, because that'll be a thing, too), download data to it after you're done, come home and unload the points you made out with friends into your game to buy mountains of stupid costume gear for your Pokemon.

Like, sure you could just write the information onto an amiibo figure, but I'd rather use the arcade cards ):

Pokke Fighting TOurnament Master Trainer Cards Collect points like capcom Tour gain entry to tournament beat local area fly out to big event (Kids are brought with their parents.) Tropy is little cup with Special Edition Pokken Amiibo as the prize possibly other cool swag.

It might be cool because now the Pokemon championships will have THREE games from now on: The card game, the traditional battler, and Pokken. ;P

I haven't actually seen one, but I think it's just very slightly thicker so they can sandwich the NFC tag in them.

So "Shadow Mewtwo" has been officially revealed, but whats interesting is that both his English and Japanese names are the same for the type of shadow pokemon in Colosseum and XD.
