That fix helps with the shapes. I just noticed the portal gun is misshapen; it should have a round back, like a beetle shell.

In terms of selection, I think there's more than enough real guns in this. Maybe add some stuff from Halo? Or more from Half Life? I think Aperture Tag's paint gun would be cool, too.

The only guns from Half-Life not on there are the Combine Overwatch Rifle, and the Crossbow. In addition, the BR-55 and M6 from Halo already reside in their respective sections. I want to finish off the Black Ops 2 section before moving onto anything else, and that's now got to include cleaning up the multitude that already exist. Actual content suggestions are going to have to wait a while. As for the Portal Gun? Noted.

The Armory [Updated 4/13/15]

OK, here's some information for you; After deliberation on how to continue the project, I've decided that the entire sheet must be first standardized. The standardization process entailed flattening all of the colors of the weapons, tweaking their shapes to match the base models, and implementing a scaling system: 1 inch to 1 pixel ratio, which is consistent with the original base Modern Genesis Project that inspired this undertaking circa 2010.

Progress has been slow to say the least, as I have not had much time to focus my attention upon this project, merely picking away at an item or two once every other week or so. However, it is my hope that the items that have been modified so far are satisfactory in size and shape. If you will consider suggesting how to further this satisfactory standard, please tell me below.

I still think you should see how they scale versus some other sprite styles. I might also suggest blocking out the specific parts of the guns (flat shades) and then keeping a copy of all of their unshaded versions so that they can later be altered to another 'style' more quickly and easily, perhaps.

The Armory [Updated 4/24/15]

Progress is slow, but steady. The Machineguns category has a broader description, including Light, Medium, and Heavy options, and has been reshaped and flattened as per standard. Some new additions have popped up here in the armory due to relations to existing platforms, reclassification and movement, or rebuilds based on more accurate models of said weapon.

Further improvements to the project will include:
Standardized Magazines, because a NATO 30-round StanAg should not look different in an M4 than in a TAR-21.
More attachments, because customization wins the day.
More refined instructions on camouflage patterns and better demonstrations
Interchangeable parts for part-sharing weapon platforms, such as stocks, barrels, receivers, etc. [This means a build-a-gun section is possible]

It's been a while. Progress has been slow, as life has happened, but I'm happy to show some progress on this project. Good news is I probably never have to touch a Call of Duty game again, as I've elected to stay away from the fictional guns of Advanced Warfare and Black Ops 3.

But you guys didn't come here for grudges against games, you came here for guns, glorious guns.

The dithering/checker effect you have going breaks up the form of many of your sprites. I don't see why dithering would be necessary. Dithering has its place for one reason or another, but for something like that, it may even be better just have them uniformly one colour with no highlights.

... You're sure you're looking at the up-to-date links? I was pretty sure I made everything flat colors for shaping and scaling purposes for now?

I guess I wasn't, because they are not dithered now. My bad.

So, I kinda got a new game recently, and started on what's in it, and the real-life weapons they're based on... DICE's other game might have to wait.
