I'm bumping because the first 6 minutes of this video they are slowing down cutscenes, and examining them frame by frame. It's ridiculous on how bad this game really is.

Man, i am getting mighty sick of seeing Game Grumps everywhere (Jontron as well) I can't be the only one who thinks so.


Anyway. Sega will most likely pretend Boom didn't happened. This could also affect the show and comic, but not in a good way.
Everyone was turned off it starting with those silhouettes from 2013. Then a shitstorm came as everything was revealed, which still continues.
- The sports tape/bandages
- Blue arms on Sonic and his lankier appearance, plus the split ends in his quills and bandanna around his neck.
- Knuckles getting an oddly proportioned muscly body and turned into a complete retard.
- Kate Higgins being replaced by Colleen Villard as Tails. Any reason why?
- Shadow and Metal Sonic just being there for no reason and having flat personalities.
- Lyric was going to be a Satan-like character but all he is now is just a generic villain based on a stock "evil" animal with a generic evil plan.
- Sticks having no proper introduction, she's just there. And her weird voice that sounds like a bad imitation of Cree Summer's Elmyra Duff voice.

Eggman still has his traits, even bordering to Long John Baldry levels of silliness. Orbot and Cubot are still the same as the main Sonic games.
Amy has a better personality instead of being a clingy fangirl/stalker and her voice sounds heaps better. She also has the least radical design.

Honestly, it was doomed from the start. With the troubled production, employees fired/left during it. Plus the fact the Cryengine was not built for a game like Sonic. And many other things, which Sonic Stadium has already covered.

I really hope that at least the show stays. Several Sonic fans agree that it's one of the best things to happen to the franchise in a long time and it would badly cripple Sega if they cancel/dramatically change such a promising show so soon.

To be honest, I find the show is bland and uneventful. Knowing the Sonic fanbase pretty well, I can safely say its only liked by a few and seen as promising because it isn't exactly bad (or worse than the games it was released beside), but it ain't exactly good either. They're just happy yet another Sonic related thing didn't bomb entirely.

I feel bad for the fanbase the most. I've never seen a company with a character that could print so much money even after his good titles were long gone. They're so loyal and loving of the series to the point where they just continue buying and buying regardless of quality in hopes that it could just be great again. If Sonic can still manage to be popular and stay afloat after this many blunders, imagine just how popular he could be if SEGA tried to consistently not fuck up and made actual blockbusters again?

Sometimes I wish Nintendo would just buy Sonic Team. SEGA obviously doesn't have the budget or care to make sure the developers have incentive to make quality titles, its like wasted potential on a good series that could really rake in some cash.

Considering all the crap that went on with E.T. It's pretty impressive. A game done in 5 weeks? They normally took 5-6 months

And it was made by like one guy iirc.

Sonic Boom has no excuse, it should very well take it.
