Yes they do. It says in the picture.
Verdana size 7 and the font is the color of the light grey box. You get it wrong we'll let you know.

What program are you using?
Doofenshmirtz: This is a little bit awkward but have you seen my escape jet keys? (Perry nods) What, you have? Well that's great! So where are they? (Perry looks away) You won't tell me? Is this because you don't speak or are you just being a jerk?

Are you using Windows XP? If so...

Right click your desktop, and click "properties".
Click on the "Appearance" tab, then click "Effects".
Uncheck "Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts:".

Let me know if that works.

Turn off Anti-Alias and Kerning. That helps too.

Vista, eh? In that case, the instructions are a bit different:

Right click your desktop, and click "Personalize".
Click on "Window Color and Appearance", then "Open classic appearance properties for more color options" (near the bottom)
Click on the effects button, and uncheck "Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts:".

I think. It's been a while since I've used my father's Vista laptop.
