3DS Ripping Catch-All Thread
Yay, I partially figured out the problem the xsfa tool had!
Most of the puzzle files extracted from the correct offsets, but now the problem is the file sizes are too small and part of some files get cut off. I'm just happy it works, though!

This is the most progress I've ever made trying to figure out a model file... too bad it only seems to work on the super simple ones...
I probably won't get any farther than this, but it was super useful for learning purposes... I wonder if I can at least figure out UV coordinates...?

Edit:
Bigger characters have a different vertex format, and of course are separated in different pieces.

Is there a way to rip the sound effects from Dream Team yet? I have this arc file that supposedly contains all the sound data but I can't find any way to open/extract it.

On another note, I submitted Mario's and Dreambert's models from DT. Though the game was already listed as pending so maybe I was too late?

Hey, I want to rip the 3d models from DragonBall Heroes Ultimate Mission 2

I managed to unpack the rom, and I have many .ctpk files (textures and graphics maybe) .ama and .amt files (amt are most likely the 3d models)

with the cptk tool I tried to convert a texture but I get this error:

If anyone's still interested in Gunvolt sprites that may not already be on the site I have a zip with a bunch of sprites from the game:

One thing I'd like to point out about the current sprites on the site is that the color interpolation appears to be bad.
Comparing a sprite rip from the site

So since M&L: SSS+BM is now officially released in Japan and is releasing elsewhere tomorrow. I have access the files and have tried ripping some sprites already, but I can only seem to get certain battle backgrounds. Character sprites won't extract right (I'm using a script made for Paper Jam here since the engine and sprites seem to be very similar between Paper Jam, Dream Team and this) so I guess they changed something to prevent that script from working on these sprites. I just get empty files (with promising filenames though)

Is there any way I could get a bit of steering in the right direction? Even if the spriter's resource won't accept submissions till the release overseas, I think it's a good idea to at least get started Smile

And do ya know what the difference was between SSS+BM's sprites and Paper Jam's, format wise?
