Oracle Placement In Zelda Timeline
#61
You just said it RIGHT there. If you HOLD belief then there can be a time line, but until the creators themselves actually fill up the holes themselves with some sort of report book or something, then it can only be belief that's all.

This is true. The OoT Link copmleatly vanished after he defeated Ganon. Essentualy, the Hero of Time's bloodline is esentialy only found in the Child timeline. The other Links could be decendants of the WW Link.

3. What? If he's the same guy every time why does everyone act likes he's a new enemy every time? Wait...isn't the legend that there's a male Gerudo born every...100 years?

Actualy, Flare is right. Ganon is the single most consistant variable in all Zelda games, other than the triforce, obviously.

Timelines will have holes, lots do. That doesn't mean they don't exist. I didn't say it didn't either, I said it was faulty.

But hey, the creators probably leave the timeline a bit fluid so they can create more ideas.

Majora's Mask is, without a doubt, the best Zelda game. When my grandmother bought me the first edition copy of the game the month it came out, I immediately tore it from its packaging and held the cartridge in both hands, trembling slightly. Looking at the holofoil cover of Link slashing his sword at the player, I fell to my knees under the sheer force of God's creation. My tears slowly cascading down the tiny ridges of the hologram, I turned my gaze to the Heavens and and whispered, barely audibly, "This is love."

Ganondorf is the 1 one male born every hundred years, but somewhere between entering the sacred realm and turning into a pig after dying he gains some amount of immortality.
The Ganon seen in the rest of the series is the same Ganon.

I assume other Gerudo males are born, but they're not all named Ganondorf and they are not important to the story.

ganondorf from Wind Waker is the best Ganon because he is sympathetic. all he wants is a nice place to live, and he never once kills his hostages...

It makes me sad that nobody mentioned Freshly Picked Tingles Rosie Rupee Land. Tongue Either happened a fairly long time before WW or Not that long after it; the flood waters are all there and the Deku tree dies leaving behind a sprout to grow into a new one.

Quote:Point: Still unfilled holes. Kokiri where are they? Is this a new Link? Did the Kokiri grow up? Did they die out? Lon Lon Ranch?

Weren't the tree people in WW their descendants or something?

Your talking about Wind Waker and I'm talking about Twilight Princess apparently being before Wind Waker.

@Koopaul: There are soooo many though, at least in Beastwars (my example) you can at least tell what was going on in terms of a timeline.

Even in Sonic there seems to be a progression in time as events before effect the now. Before Tails just followed Sonic around the Sonic Adventure said he had a workshop now he ALWAYS has to have a workshop. I'm not saying the Zelda time line can't have holes but at least correlate reefer to past without us having to guess.

Another thing about Tingles Rosie RupeeLand, it obviously takes place after the flood, but it would also appear to take place after MM as the cows are all cross mutated with aliens. :/

If we include Ruppeeland, the timeline gets screwed up.
