I'm actually liking where this is going. Not only are the details on on the rocks and sand are very professional, but I like what you did to each skyscraper as it goes further towards the horizon.

You're on your way, but might I suggest a little more hue shifting in your grass?

it's ok to suck, sucking is not bad, just try and aim to always do your best!

just to give you an example of how you should handle your city-scape,
[Image: buildex_by_pushbombshell-d6pkxbf.png]
at the moment the space between the buildings is inconsistent and the buildings look like cardboard cut outs.

Alright done.....almost. The grass, I'm thinking about the possibility, Hmmm.....

My estimate is that there are over 50 skyscrapers.......I'm sorry I did not eat enough cheerios this month to have that much heart.

you may claim to not "have that much heart" but it doesn't change how its a fairly glaring issue in your work.
and its already been mentioned but it seems you've ignored it, the grass looks really bad and seems to be shaded based on how close it is to the ground rather than whether or not light would reach it..
I also figured you were going to work more on the rocks but as you haven't I might as well mention that their dark red tone seems really out of place, the rock on the left is a really strange shape, the middle rock has useless lines all over it and the rock on the right looks like its the crusts from an overcooked pie.
You also have a few inconsistent tones in your sky.
And if you insist on not changing the city scape, I should at least ask why the faces of the buildings are shaded to look curved?

@Vipershark
You're suppose to be a mod and example of how to comduct ourself on this forum. If you have an issue from pervious post settle it a PM instead of derailing my threads. You see the focus of this thread, don't change it, and comply. Have something to say? Say something about my work. have a problem with me personally and how I speak? PM me because it personal.

@Bombshell93
I only have so much time for this place, so updates don't come at the first criqtue. I work on the sprites before coming here and sometimes I just forget, I didn't ignore the grass...... As for the city, I'm just lazy mang. Doing it your way would make the building smaller as they approached the horizon and that mean more detail! (ACK!). I just decided to copy and paste my way to mediocrity. As for the rocks, with so much green I guess the red would stand out more and it the only object that hue shifts. Red and green are oppossite colors......Let see what you think after I've changed the grass hue a bit.

about what you said to Vipershark, this community is not a professional forum, most of us are here as hobbyists, enthusiasts and or students, as such we expect to come here and be able to communicate as friends or at the very least kind strangers, that said I'd say Vipershark would know better the workings of the forum to address you.

As for your reply to me (and yes this is on topic of the thread, as it is concerning your work and method of work)
you shouldn't settle for mediocrity, even if you think incapable you should strive for greatness, your not going to get any good if you don't at least try. As for the colour, its a poor choice of colours regardless of the grass and its not the only problem, the rocks as I mentioned have plenty of useless lines that do nothing but confuse the shames. The grass doesn't need rehueing, it needs redoing, its method of shading is quite poor, it'd not be fixed by a recoloring.

I'm not asking you to make all these changes in 1 fell swoop but an "okay" or a "maybe if I..." wouldn't hurt, instead you've made excuses and dodged the comments, some of the impatience that has been grown with you is your unwillingness to learn, we don't post our works to be marveled at, we post it to improve it and short of exceptional works we won't have anything to say if we can't help you fix it.

Hint: That's exactly why he told you to stop posting like that so you'd stop embarrassing yourself

Right now what you're doing is coming across as
"LOL, UM, SORRY HONEY, NOT GONNA HAPPEN"

It's just really rude. If you don't want to take a piece of criticism, tell them that you appreciate it and will take it into consideration in your next piece, but that you want to move on to other things right now. Don't just slap it away. At least -acknowledge- that somebody posted to you. People are taking time out of their day to give you advice. I mean, by being appreciative, you don't have to act really super nice and proper or anything; we're just asking for basic courtesy and good manners.

Also it's pretty bad if you -continuously- reject or "forget" criticism, because then what's the point of even posting your work? If you're not willing to take the effort to learn from the advice people give you because it's ~too much effort~, then I don't understand your point of coming here.

You know what, Im really tired of your shit already. You are being a huge asshole to everyone as if they are inherently wrong, ans you still commit the same mistakes over and over, pretending that we will see progress in your works (aka never, in this pace).

Literally no people like you deserve anything in the forum, we tried helping you, giving you tips and suggesting to stop being so condescending more than once, just to see you have not improved anything. We have no reason to help someone as dense as you.

I really want you to prove me (and us) wrong but considering how you are acting, we wont hear anymore from you sooner than i expect.

Quote:I've attempted to fix the problems and the grass was hue due to your dark red rock shade conflict. I'm still thinking of a small and smooth rock concept for the right rock. The sky was fixed and the highest contrast building were lowered in contrast with the roofs removed.

Even if this isn't a professional place a mod represent the forum more than just a mere forum member. I've been to plenty of places unprofessional with mods that act better. Nothing I can do so let leave this alone for now.

For the 2nd paragraph. Listen man I can settle for whatever I want. If I don't do what you advise, it's not your problem it's mines. Don't get upset because I don't want to do what you say for any reason. Think of this way, you put the info out there, now what from you? I've attempted to fix the problems and the grass was hue due to your dark red rock shade conflict. I'm still thinking of a small and smooth rock concept for the right rock.

Regarding your 3rd paragraph If they're that impatience, if they're that forceful, I don't know what to say. I may have gotten the definition of edit wrong and didn't respond well, but when it come times I just don't want to do something and they get mad, that's their problem not mines. Screw em. I'm here to submit, post PA, and clean it up a bit. You make the line of disagreement and NO gray and blurred.

Hey, fuck you then because this is tvgr and other forums are other forums. We here try to be as close as normal members because we don't really care in that regard. No one here has more rights than anyone else because the staff, while doing their job, is above all a member and part of the community.

While you can settle for anything you want, there's something called CONSIDERATION and if you show none to the community, no one will like you. Easy math here bub. You're right to do what you feel it's right but insulting, ignoring people and being a bag of dicks is not right at all.

All you did was a wall of backpedalling with no will to improve whatsoever. You are actually being a stupid noob as you put it, and unless you really change the way you act, you will continue being a stupid noob. Screw you too because we will not accept faulty shit as submissions at all.

Go enjoy your week ban to see if you can put all this in your goddamn head.
