Google Joins the War~
#16
Yeah, I saw an article about the Ouya backers not getting their system. Turns out they are still chilling in a warehouse somewhere. The Ouya guys picked a bad shipping company apparently. As for the controller, you can just hook up any old usb controller and start playing.

I still don't know if I'll get one or not. I kinda want to just so I can make a game on it.

Hmmm... seems kind of fishy. It didn't really look like it could compete with the PS4, though, or even the PS3. Also, considering I hadn't heard anything about this console before reading this thread, It makes me wonder, it seems more like a bad marketing ploy than an actual attempt to join the big leagues of console gaming.

I backed the Ouya. Still haven't received it though. It might make a good emulation box but other than that it was instant regret.

Well I think if Google gives the care and attention to it like they do most of their products, we could potentially see some innovation in the gaming market. That is the best thing any company can do.
