As well as what Previous said, may I just add that it's quite refreshing to see Sonic drawn in a style like that. He's almost never drawn in a style that isn't "Sonic" or a custom style similar to it, so props for that. Everything Previous said is still valid, though.

Thanks guys,I realized about the lack of contrast too, hopefully this will fix it:

Made a more detailed shading, possibly closer to the style that inspired me in the first place.
Though his shoes still lack contrast.I could just up the contrast by myself, but I'm kinda trying to stick with the game's palettes,so I'm not sure.
Also started on the other guys, but there's not much to say on them yet.

The Mario and Sonic thing is just something silly I made for fun the other day,I'm not really looking for crit on those.

Haven't sprited for quite some time,I went to touch my Sonics today and realized that I'm kinda sick of ModGen's extremely Sonic 3 limitations. So I said fuck it and tried to take a slightly different approach.
-Less poppy bright colors.
-Less grey spots of the devil.
-Uses how many shades I want, rather than using how many shades S3K used for that color.
-New "main" shade (ie,blue for Sonic) is used mostly for AA-ing.
-Still follows the 16bit color limit.
-The ones that aren't Sonic aren't finalized, don't worry about them yet.

I know you guys aren't much into Sonic, and I'm not into it a lot either recently, but I figured I should post this here since it's where the "modgen suck" thing started so eh,I want TSR's view on this.
I did make some other original stuff that I forgot to post here too btw,I might post them later.
