thanks for clearing that up Previous Smile

anyway here didn't clean up the hitboxes yet (BECAUSE STENCYL WANTS ALL THE ANIMATION FRAMES TO BE OF SAME SIZE which causes the offset and shit) so sorry bout that, didn't clean up the way you jump yet too still getting help from that but here

yep, thanks :-D

He does blend when he's in front of the second-layer 'ground', but otherwise, it's fine. :-)

Well, the sprites look okay.

Too bad the engine is the worst I've ever seen.

well it's a WIP and the retarded hitboxes and jumping haven't been fixed yet but it'll get there Smile (hopefully)

Still, I've never seen one that broken, even for a WIP...

i posted this even though it's obviously not ready just to see if the sprites match with the background, not because you were supposed to play it

I know that, and I understand that it's a WIP, but I don't even know how you managed to break it so much. I've made my fair share of platform engines, and I wouldn't even know HOW to break it like you did... I realise you're going to fix it, but wow.

Also the jump animation is slightly misaligned in places, causing him to jump forward a pixel.

It's not bad for something made by a beginner in a program like Stencyl. Give him some time to figure out how to work with it :-P
Besides it doesn't feel 'broken', but rather like a very first step (which is exactly what it is, soooo)

if only people these days read

EDIT: it IS broken because it's not ready oh god

It feels broken to me, but perhaps I'm too familiar with this kind of engine, so my first step tends to be a little more polished, since I know what I'm doing.
