So far I have only tried Minecraft and Portal.

Both of those work great, can play minecraft at full graphics settings, and Portal played great with default settings.
Just picked portal first because it was something I already know I like, trying some more soon.

Thanks guys.

In that case, I don't think you'll really have trouble running some higher-quality-graphic games.

VVVVVV. It's $5 and it's amazing and could run on my toaster.

Not to brag, but I run all of my games in 1080p at mostly full settings and I honestly can't stand it when things look pixely. Unless they're intended to be pixely, of course. Maybe I'm spoiled or something, but honestly, I hate the look of über-scaling. Lower poly looks better to me than lower resolution, but that's more of a personal preference.

if my computer could run tf2 at full settings, i'd probably play tf2 at full settings.

ePSXe + Suikoden + Suikoden II
Tsunami Bomb - The Simple Truth
We could run away
Leave behind anything paper
Not knowing where we're going to stay
When there's no Mondays

You're part of me, it's so easy to see the simple truth
When I'm in your arms, I feel safe from harm and sorrow too
You're part of me, it's so easy to see the simple truth
But most of all, nothing couldn't be solved when I'm with you

Minecraft was the first thing I download, definitely getting Dreamcast Collection.

Will look into quake, but what is suikoden?

Sukoden is an RPG for the PSX that kicked ass. Sequel was better, but you might want to play the first to appreciate the sequel's story. Though it's not a sort of "direct sequel" it has characters cross over and makes references to the previous game.
