Also, yes. They ALL are. Go to bulbapedia and look any Pokemon up. They are all based on something.
Yes, I'm aware that Pokemon had their colors to begin with, its on the box art after all, but what I meant by that is that due to the less amount of limitations the newer games allowed, that Pokemon "grew more colors" in game.

Ah well, regardless, my Pokemon is based on the form of lightning.

And? All the pokemon in the official art had several different colors going on in there design. Having a sprite use less colors does not make the design more gen 1 or "nostalgic", or even good, in fact, it actually is hurting your design.

Bullshit. Whether Dragonite or Garchomp, the designs are based off of mythical dragons from actual folklore. A form of lightning is not a legitimate basis for a goddamn DRAGON Pokemon of all things.

I already stated how I wasn't going to remove the hair, stop being so stubborn...
where

where did you state this
because i didn't see it which leads me to believe you either didn't actually state it, or much more likely, the reason you used for not removing the hair was complete garbage and makes you look like one of those people who post here hoping for nothing but praise(much like every other post you've made in this thread)

Take a look at page 1.
I'm sorry if you didn't like my reasoning, I just want it in because I like the hair the way it is. Think what you will of me, but my mind is made up about the hair. Is it so wrong to disagree with some c+c people give you? If a person told you that you always need to pillow shade your work, would you do it (this doesn't apply for anyone in this thread, as you all gave me thoughtful c+c)? I don't really reply to any compliments I receive and I only thank and compliment c+c . I'm sorry I don't agree with everyone when it comes to c+c, but I always welcome it and will give my reason for why I disagree or not. If a good enough reason will be given, I will usually change my mind (Again, I'm sorry this doesn't apply for the hair, I like it...). I also give other people the chance to respond to a c+c I've been given when in doubt. I know I come across as an asshole of some sort for doing this, but I have a right to decide what I want to do with my sprites don't I?
Mmh....sorry about the rude response to Baegal, but my mind is made up, I'm not changing the hair.

That insult was completely unnecessary and uncalled for, if you have something to say about an user/member, take it elsewhere.

Well that was a rather childish response no?
And I see you seem to put a rather large amount of thought into your posts.

ssbkid, i know you've already made up your mind about the hair, but try removing it anyways? you may change your mind. you really don't need to be stubborn, they're just trying to help ):

Normally, I would

but your refusal to even try seeing this from any point of view other than your own is really sucking out any will that I might have to post in here competently

Well...Perhaps I truly have been wrong in not even giving it a try...Much less a thought. Putting myself from the standpoint of someone who would give feedback to another person hoping to see it improve and ignored feels harsh.
I'll put my stubbornness aside and try listening to every c+c I receive for now.
I'll have your suggestions done by the end of tomorrow. And I know I apologize allot but right now seems the best time to do it, I'm sorry...
Perhaps I'll make the male have no hair and the female have hair, I don't know.
I do like the idea of Pokemon having more diversity in their gender after all.

yaaaaay you are listening.

I await results. also the dragon looks better. I still think it could look a bit more Pokemon-y but I'm not sure how to go about that right now.
