[x]We're back! After a failure of the drives in our database server, all data has been restored from last night's backup. The last 24 hours or so of submissions will likely need to be re-made but everything else should be okay. Please let me now if you notice anything not working as it should though. Thanks! -Petie

My first attempt at iso
#1
Supposedly me and a couple spriters are going to start a isometric SRPG soon, and I felt like being more than just a programmer.

However, when it comes to spriting I'm pretty bad and would like some crit on my latest sprite: an isometric rethinking of a previous piece.

So here it is, an isometric stylized skeleton:

main issues is rather obvious, the sprite's perspective is far from being isometric.

With the ref lines, I see it.

Though I can never seem to get iso feet right.

*I fucking faved that*

but yeah, your skeleton isn't that isometric-y. Maybe you could use it as a frame for something, but he definitely isn't standing like he should in an isometric perspective.

yeah, his right (our left) should be much more in line with the guide, as if he needs to be rotated a bit, like with what Metaru posted. it'd require a lot of tweaking...but...yeah.
