Here's a map you should use, the Full Map on Gamefaqs is incorrect in places (like a save room that can be access anywhere).

And one room you probably don't have is the secret one in the big Merman room that requires you to go through the rock as a wolf one way and a bat the other. Don't ask how you were supposed to know that, it's one of those "you had to spend money on a strategy guide since Gamefaqs wasn't really known back in 1997" secrets.
