Deoxys sprites

The top half of the body is like leaning to the right. The data arm looks alot better. The hand still bothers me. But keep going. It's coming out better.

What the heck is that thing?!

Anyway, I did a quick edit (again)

I know what's bugging me. The right leg (our left) is out in front of the right arm. It's making it look like he's thrusting forward.

That is just me making adjustments on a 4x version of your sprite, which you could try to to do on a 1x scale. Remember what I said about the lightsource, and I'd suggest you change the pose of that "human" arm. The head is not the right shape either.

move his pelvis and legs back a couple of pixels.
it looks like he's doing a pelvic thrust.
Also either make his hand into a fist, or make the arm do something other than just hang there.
it looks awkward and boring while straight down like that.

I agree, move his legs back a bit. Otherwise he will look like he's about to do some yoga.
It's looking better, I can't really say anything else that hasen't been said. So go for it Cute

The arm's too straight, bend it a little.

Look at the shape of the eyes, the colours, the shape of the head and the (almost) lack of outlines on the head. This is what I meant, since you didn't comprehend my previous edit. Stick to the reference.

Shorten his human arm a little. Seems a tad too long to me.

Sorry, chris. It's not that I didn't comprehend, I didn't understand what you meant.

Then I'm sorry I didn't explain properly, but it's no problem for me to reiterate! Tell me more precisely what you don't understand, I'll try and re-explain. I see that you've adjusted the shape of the head and changed the eyes' shape. I think the colours that you use aren't quite right, try and compare them to that of the reference. The proportions bug me, the easiest solution would be to make everything apart from the head a bit bigger. And remember what impact the light will have on Deoxys, where shadows will appear for instance. Anyway, do carry this on!

It looks like a Trainer in a shitty Deoxys costume.

I don't understand how you couldn't understand the point Chris is trying to get across. Look at Deoxys's shapes. He's not composed of circles (completely) and only rounded off points. He has the head shape of a diamond etc. Judging by the shapes from your sprite, you're not editing or redoing parts of it, you're just resizing certain parts and trying to round them off. That's not going to work.

Redo it.

While Apparatus put it a bit bluntly, he is correct.
Your deoxys is much too rounded. Try to follow chris' examples.
