You could ask them how they did it. Rips aren't perfect though, iirc the rigging/weight painting was a little off, should be right for obj rips at least.
Just wanted to add a little to this, the Qwark model couldn't be ripped with weight painting iirc, but the Nefarious one was *nearly* spot on. A couple of bones on one side were missing, which naturally messed up the weights around those areas, but nothing that couldn't be fixed with some mirroring and renaming.
