Indeed they have. They’ve been flooding Tvtropes as well and they enjoy messing up and ruining my reading experience on mobile. 
They’ve gotten especially bad this year ever since January and no major effort has been put into stopping them or calling them out to the public aside from the occasional post on tech-themed blogs.
