Well, that depends. What model format are you trying to open? Blender works best with .3ds and .obj.
I'm trying to crack open OBJ files... but Blender doesn't load them... Cry
Really? What version of Blender are you using? Does it display an error message when you try to load them?

It just pretends to load the file and then gives me a blank area. Angry
