That's fair; but part of joining things like these is agreeing to commit to the deadline; extreme/unexpected circumstances notwithstanding.

If you said you were too busy to take part; no one would think any less of you - and it would definitely be true in your case.

Like, seriously. Just relax about it and finish the things you need to get done. There will still be halloweens and xmases in the future; you don't /have/ to be in this one.
