Criticism on my GBC sprites?

I'm no expert in MLSS style, but the proportions for Dante definitely don't fit it. MLSS is usually soft-looking, very round, almost like a balloon. This guy is too stringy, even if that's what the character looked like originally; his shape would have to be exagerated and squished down to fit right. As for the shading, the bare areas are too thin to even be able to be shaded properly, and the clothes look like a 2-color pillow shade.
