Tracing over an existing image via pixels. Whether or not the colors and whatnot are similar or different is the creator's decision.

All I'm asking is if there's anything in the lineart that's "wonky," anything bothersome in the shading...etcetera.
Oh hell. I dunno why I posted it up besides just wanting to. =\ Must I have a justified reason for posting up a pixel over?

X Gamer: Ah, that is true. I'm not entirely disconsidering his opinion, like I also said in the same post: I can respect it. Thus, I can consider that pixel overs don't "take as much skill."
I don't just pixel over things, despite it seeming that way due to me just posting that.
I am willing to improve, despite me currently being a little...indifferent, perhaps. Maybe even a little stubborn.
There still is a point. Art is about expression. It's about what you want to do, not what other people wish for you to do.
And yes, it's also about improvement. Which is what I'm willing to do, but I also don't wish to let a few individuals' arguments change what I wish to make, but I am willing to hear them out despite that. And don't get me wrong. You point out flaws in the piece itself, I will more than likely take a look.
But...I do not wish to argue anymore. I really, really just am not in the best mood...due to outside reasons, though. Dun' worry, though, it has nothing to do with this. I'm just a little bit stressed about keeping my grades up, and just everything in general.

But...I told you all that I do have original pixel art, so enough talk, more proof for you. It's not fair to you guys if I continue to tell you this without some clear backup.
