well yeah, because now sega gave us something superficially sorta close to what we wanted, kind of (WARNING SIREN TO REMIND ALL WHINY BABIES ITT: I'M NOT SAYING THIS GAME IS ABSOLUTE SHIT, THIS IS NOT SONIC 2K6, IT'S NOT THAT BAD) and the smart people are going to see "oh, actually this isn't really quite right at all, it's good bit off in several important ways" and the whiny babies are gonna go "waaah you guys are never happy" and some people just seem destined to be whiny babies
so basically if it is splitting it it's because it's confronting the sega fanbase with a fundamental character flaw they have

Yeah I'm not accusing you or Rokkan or other people of calling this game shit. My only problem was with this Mama Robotnik calling it a "crime against gaming" I thought that was babyish.
