You are allowed to have an opinion, same as everyone else. However, you don't have the right to force feed it down other people's throats as if it were the ultimate truth, especially when your opinion is baseless and have been proved wrong by other people.
"The right to have an opinion" isn't either a magic mantra that automatically turns a silly comment into something right.
