If you're still working on this, Is it possible to get the animations from the game? If someone's already done it, where can I get them? I'm terrible at animating

Just the only thing I will need is cetrain motion capture software and hardware.

Are requests still accepted? If so please include Hypno, Monferno and Honchkrow in the queue. Thanks!

If you're willing to use the Student Version of 3DS Max, which I think has watermarks on exported renders, that would work. Based on how you state how your time with Blender was, that probably means that 3DS Max, with its more traditional style, would be easier for you. It would have been easier for me, but I got too far into Blender once I found 3DS Max.

I'm looking for a 3D program that makes easier to do motion capture on quadrupeds... even if I have to do the capture myself by recording myself. It's quite amusing to see those well done animations of Quadrupeds on every game. but I dunno how to make motion captures for a battle animation, that project was meant to be done 7 months ago, but I have no idea, and Youtube and google sucks at searching tutorials or videos about that, just an april fools joke of a Motion capture software only for cats. and even for Oculus rift VR projects I cannot make animations so smoothly without motion capture. if you know any software to do so... no matter the prize of the software, then please tell me where to find it or where to see videos of the software in action. Thanks in advance. PS: Is there any problem with the progress of the models?... I don't wanna sound impatient, just a little worried, since RTB seems like he went MIA.

He is still here that is for sure. From what I can tell, he seem really quite busy with other things (SSB4 stuff and sprites) if he hasn't even responded to my request for help for quite some time. I don't wanna sound impatient, just a little worried, since RTB seems like he went MIA. okay, just I needed to know what happened to him. I don't usually drop into the Spriters resource topics. and SSB4, it seems quite right, I saw some new stuff days ago. it seems that the Bunnelby model I have to get it by myself in 3DS Max... but unfortunately for me. I cannot convert it into DAE, and neither fix the problem of the split mesh parts. and I suck at using blender, (A good reason I had to quit from using it) that's why I prefer RTB's models above others. and yet Teddiursa/Suicune and other models aren't fixed the split parts. even when I move teddiursa's face to look down, the eyes and mouth aren't attached to the head bone. and using Hypernurbs or subdivision only makes holes in the corners of the eyes and mouth. Cinema 4D don't have any way to fix it, and 3DS Max makes me much more difficult at making animations if I ever had to focus on it, and wastes much more resources than C4D specially considering my PC is getting slower nowadays. Anyway, I prefer to do this by myself instead of pushing RTB... dammit. No tutorial of how to make precise animations on quadruped motion captures (Just dressing dogs/horses with black spandex with white spots and recording them with a kinect)... time to kiss goodbye the "Eevee killing ninjas" scene....

Hello guys, i just find this topic on google, not sure if there someone working in this project yet.
I can help, the only thing i need know how to do is extract the models, i can help fixing textures such create bones and get the model ready for animation (i use blender). Also i have pokemon X on N3DS (not sure if the extract process came from here lol).

The ripping tools can extract the bones near perfectly, and we aren't aiming for animation. Besides, if you're getting into the project, you'd better look at current rips to figure out the format of submitting. You need to look at the VG-Resource submitting styles, and how the different ripping sites work. It's not a good idea to jump in right now, without experience from this site, or even this thread.

RTB, you did some NPC rips a while back, is there a reason they are missing their arms in their rigging? They all seem to have this issue, I was not sure if it was because they simply are not in the actual model rigging you ripped, or if it was an issue with ripping them. Seemed strange.
EDIT I assume this is just because I am importing it into Blender, I see them in 3DS Max. |
