Honestly I really don't think this should take over the B/W games because
A) Not everyone has access to them or Wifi even
B) It would take to long for everyone to breed together their perfect team
C) It would be a bad idea to be reliant on one person to level up all of your 'mons
D) Restricting the number of 'mons that can be played over wifi is dumb
I actually like Chad's Idea of trying to win in the most creative way possibly rather then just trying to win altogether because it makes things more interesting and gives a chance to people who suck at battling like me fore example to actually have a chance of wining.

Gym Leader - Lawbreaker Guycott
Reward - Shackle Badge
Location - A Reformated Abandoned Prison
Bio - Tom Guycott was formerly a criminal who ended up serving a large amount of time in prison, eventually being rehabilitated. However, after his release he wanted to simultaneously keep young trainers from making the same mistakes he did, while at the same time fulfilling his love of being the toughest guy around. Thus, after becoming a Gym Leader, he reformatted his former, now abandoned prison into a Gym, populated by former rehabilitated criminals and corrections officers. He shows the grim prison life and tries to make trainers avoid the same errors he made.

subjective judging doesn't work it just doesn't
we can take a vote for online vs ds
also Guycott pretty sure that its understood that this is a monotype thing, we can have a wildcard if you guys want though

Tomguycott, there is a disturbing lack of HONCHKROW in your post ):
But, as Zac said, I love your taste in Pokemon.
Zac, I'm not even talking about the judging, also what is being creative when playing in a pokemon battle? As far as I would think about, it means that you don't always go in for fast sweepers or trying to stall or baton pass with all of your pokemon just to power up one. It would mean to use moves that you normally wouldn't use with that pokemon, To do something that most people wouldn't consider doing.
I think we should at least promote doing that over just trying to go in for the win because there is more to things then just winning which most people fail to see in a Pokemon game. It takes the fun out of battling if I know the other people is just going to try to go in for the kill because it makes it less enjoyable because this is how Pokemon battles normally go: Spikes/toxic spikes/pointed stones or a combination of them, item switch, baton pass, have pokemon that had a assload of defense and special defense use a healing move over and over and over again while they slowly kill your pokemon, one hit kills all over the place, and thats it. Thats seriously it. Thats all that happens during a pokemon battle. Do you know how boring that gets to see the same shit over and over and over again?
I guess I just want to see people actually use something new for a technique rather then using the same old moves that everyone and their dog uses.

To me, it basically sounds like you just want to run in game teams as the leader's pokemon rather than actually training them as such.
Nope, I just want battles to be interesting and not the same old boring shit that everyone does.

I literally don't even know what this post means.
EDIT: Also if it wasn't completely obvious, I have stepped down from this. If we can't do it in an imaginative way, I don't want to be a part of it. Zac, I love you man and I respect that this is YOUR tournament which is why I'm putting it back into your control, but this is NOTHING liek what I had invisioned. I feel this si going to dwindle down to a monotype competitive metagame tournament. That's not what I'm looking to host, I wanted to host a unique, themed, Gym League.
I think people are failing to see that the TOURNAMENT was not the emphasis of what I was making. I wanted to amke a GYM LEAGUE not a TOURNAMENT. The tournament is merely in place to eb a decider of who goes where in the league roster, which is also why creativity was added to the scoring because I want to demphasize the actual I GOTTA WIN I GOTTA WIN aspect that everyone is obviously now pushing for.
The breaking point was the ridicule I was getting. As if I made the thread under someones direct orders and it was supposed to include such and such and I didn't include it. NO, this was MY ideas on how I would run the thing. You critisizing my rules is like an Olympic swimmer walking up to the host of the Olympics and ridiculing him for how he is running the Olympics, AFTER showing intrest in wanting to join.
If this wasn't what you invisioned, fine, don't be a aprt of it. Make your own competitive metagame tournament, and leave what I had going here be.
Enjoy guys. I may or may not be participating depending on how this turns out.
EDIT 2: Also for everyone pushing for this to be over WiFi, the only reason I was using Pokemon Online was for the qualifying tournament and to give everyone time to build their teams in game so we wouldn't have to wait. It was goign to eventually all be done in WiFi, with Pokemon Online being a tool we were using so we wouldn't have to wait MONTHS for everyone to breed their perfect team.

I'm fine with that as I am training guys atm.
IDK if I'll actually participate in the tourney (I play UU and NU almost exclusively) but I think it's a good idea.
