Jajajaja, way too funny man, jajajaja Btw here's the new rattata Smile

RE: Mabelma's Thread of Stuff (Art) - Marth - 09-27-2012

front limbs seem way too fat. Look at an actual rat, and try and base his anatomy off of that?

RE: Mabelma's Thread of Stuff (Art) - Mabelma - 09-27-2012

Since this is just a doodle I'm happy enough to move forward to another pokemon but thank you for your input.

Trying to get back into making pokemons, before I fix all the ones I want to fix I want to finish them all. So enjoy my try at going back and posting one or two a day Smile

RE: Mabelma's Thread of Stuff (Art) - Marth - 11-06-2012

I understand it's a warmup but that one looks incredibly flat

RE: Mabelma's Thread of Stuff (Art) - Mabelma - 11-07-2012

Thanks for your input mate, correct me if I'm wrong but most of the flatness is in the front part of the face, right?

You should try and imagine the pose you're drawing in 3d before actually drawing it, cause most of what you draw atm looks really flat, even with shading.

Also, using lines of actions and force curves to exaggerate your poses would be great.

RE: Mabelma's Thread of Stuff (Art) - Mabelma - 11-23-2012

Trying to improve my shading hopefully I'm doing something right... Also @Lexou do you think you could show me what you mean by lines of actions? Thank you.
