Vipershark have you even read the info on the game?

There's custom pokemon too.

RE: Pokemon Zero Sprites - Vipershark - 06-19-2009

mostly just the story and the game elements like how trainers behave and stuff

didn't see that part Tongue

RE: Pokemon Zero Sprites - Wes - 06-19-2009

I was halfway done spriting Lapras when I went and checked the other topic. Lapras isn't in the Pokedex for this, and the gameplay involves jumping and walking, which are somethings Lapras doesn't seem to be able to do. So I'm gonna someone else, probably Arcanine or Golem.

EDIT: Screw it, just gonna finish Lapras. Should be finished soon.

RE: Pokemon Zero Sprites - JarJar - 06-19-2009

Surfing lapras again anyone?

I say yes.

RE: Pokemon Zero Sprites - Wes - 06-19-2009

Big Pokemon is BIG. Well, Pokedex says 8'2", so thats what it is.

I don't really like the dots, but its part of Lapras's design, so I put them in. If/when I make "my" Lapras, it will be larger with less dots, maybe a scar or something, and the bumps on its shell will be larger and more sparce.

Holy shit that's awesome.

But yeah, Lapras is in the Pokedex, so it's ok. Gyarados isn't in there though, and that sucks. lol

Yeah I was gonna try and sprite him for fun, just so see how big he would be
Yeah so this is the biggest thing sprite-related I've ever made. Even if it is just the line tools

link because its a screen stretcher

RE: Pokemon Zero Sprites - Boo - 06-19-2009

i lol'ed
is that the actual size?

RE: Pokemon Zero Sprites - Wes - 06-19-2009

Yes it is. 47 feet, 7 inches in height. I estimated the length by looking at references and finding that he's roughly twice as long as he is tall, not including the tail.

I'm 6'3" and I look really short compared to him :p
Is it the hat that adds the extra height?
I was just wondering since ken appears to be wearing a hat but stops at the correct height, while tyvon goes above it.
Yes.

RE: Pokemon Zero Sprites - Vipershark - 06-19-2009

that was quite descriptive, tyvon
what are you saying yes to

RE: Pokemon Zero Sprites - Alpha Six - 06-19-2009

The hat adds extra height.

RE: Pokemon Zero Sprites - Gameboy - 06-20-2009

Could I try my hand at this style?
Looks fun, and I like the Pokemon variation among different trainers.

RE: Pokemon Zero Sprites - JWW - 06-20-2009

looks nice, but please get rid of the broken black outline. If you're trying to do selout, the black is misplaced. Regardless, selout only serves to make the sprite look sloppy. I suggest shading the outline according to your light source, but keep it continuous. Besides that, im very impressed with the shading and the accurate scale.
