RE: Pokemon Zero Sprites - Vic - 07-18-2009

pretty good and pretty huge... didn't know Feraligatr was that huge.

As for attack animations, I dont know how this will be coded, but most animations could be used for several attacks just with different particle-effects
For example, the animation for FocusPunch can be used for the elemental Punches, Poison Jab, heck, even Rock Smash.
Or the animation for Bite, which be used for all of the elemental Bites, Crunch and other biting-based attacks.
just add the particle-effects afterwards, and you get yourself a whole bunch of attacks with one animation.

Man, I feel like I'm taking over this project, especially since Tyvon decided to use my Trainer as the new style reference... I mean, I'm cool with that, and I'm flattered that people like my stuff, but it still feels kinda awkward...
im a derp

RE: Pokemon Zero Sprites - Smash - 07-19-2009

Of course, it would have to be that way.
But, just think it this way. Some pokemon are huge, and thereby could take weeks of constant work to get a single (well made) animation running. Making at least five of these could count as a huge accomplishment in itself.

And while im here, maybe I should ask for crits halfway through.

Feraligatr, so far

Great job so far, but the tan color on the chin is too dim imo.

RE: Pokemon Zero Sprites - Boo - 07-20-2009

Now I'll be taking a break for a while. Don't forget to C+C

RE: Pokemon Zero Sprites - Wes - 07-21-2009

Feraligatr's eye seems too small and too high up.

RE: Pokemon Zero Sprites - Kao - 07-21-2009

Hmm, Feraligatr's cool and all; I just think his eyes need more work and he needs to look more 'vicious'

RE: Pokemon Zero Sprites - Ravecat - 07-21-2009

I agree.

Vicious OR just really badass, though.

RE: Pokemon Zero Sprites - Vipershark - 07-21-2009

the colors seem... off.
the blue looks too turqoise, the red looks too orange, and the tan looks too yellow

RE: Pokemon Zero Sprites - Ton - 07-21-2009

I will love whoever does Snorlax. Just saying.

This project is awesome. I love Milotic and Typhlosion.

finished Primeape, started Charizard
Primeape looks a bit off though, I just cant shade fur, the position of his arms is stupid too, but I had no ideas what to do with them tbh...

Back to the old pallete and fixed face.

EDIT: Oh and, I call Breloom

RE: Pokemon Zero Sprites - Boo - 07-21-2009

I still think the pallet is kind of off. Here is just an idea but yeah.. the others have already kind of mentioned it.
